The next day after arriving in Malaysia, we immediately went to Ipoh for my cousins wedding. We left at 7am, which means I had to wake up at 6am. OMG this is even worse thatn Australia where i had to wake up at 8am. I thought getting away from Aus meant that I could sleep my life away, oh how wrong was i. Anyway, the wedding was BIG and there was LOTS of great food! I love weddings! lol.

My goodness, the weather doesnt change here like it did in Aussieland. Its hot and humid 24/7 and you get sticky and sweaty when u step foot outside. Yuck, hate it.

Had lunch and dinner with my whole extended family and the both the brides and grooms family and friends. There were about 200 people, and there was lamb, chicken, duck, beef, pork, fish. Yummmm. I pigged out no doubtedly.

The next day we went to see ancient cave drawings on the cave walls about 3000 years old. Trekking was ok, but i didnt bring shoes so i went in slippers! Yuck the mud went on my foot and the place smelled like crap cos there were horses there. We climbed up quite far then finally reached the caves with funny drawings on them, from stick men to horses to weird spermy things that the men drew to show ejaculation (said the tour guide). My sis was disgusted. lol.

I was talking to my brother when someone tugged my hair from the back. I thought it was my dad cos he doesnt like my long hair, but when i turned around, i was taken aback and quite frankly shocked. it was....LILIAN TAN!!! omg!!! Out of all the odds, i would find her here?!?! I thought it was a gay family tourist attraction but what a coincidence! I teased her about Ipoh that had nothing...and guess what, she had to agree it was crap! hahaha!

Next day we went to Penang, we stayed in a beautiful hotel!!! It was the luxury i longed for in years! It had a huge pool with slides and everything! A gym, ping pong tables, pool tables, a volleyball sandy court etc etc. I took LONG bubble baths in the room, which sprayed jets of water at your body and tickled your feet. lol. Wasted 2 hours .

Later on, went to try to food, which had a wide variety and was really good. Man did i miss Malaysian food in Australia. Cant get anything better than this.

Went to the malls there and i bought a cute stuff toy! lol. Spent 2 nights in the hotel and I smartly messed up the safe pin number which had my sisters camera, her phone, my phone and watch in it. Man was i freaking out so much, praying my ass off! I tried so many combinations i could remember but to no avail. I tried so many timed it safety locked itself and i couldnt try again! Hell!!!! I couldnt eat a good breakfast cos i was thinking how i could open it without telling dad or mom cos theyd kill me. Luckily there was a device which could open it...thank God! man, that was so scary.

We checked out and went for lunch in a place called Little India. Man the food was surprisingly good!!! Wow, i changed my mind on Indian food!

Finally arrived back home and played PS2. haha. What a great trip with the family, bonding here and there. Awwww lol! Seriously, it was good to look around the kampungs (sp?) and check out how life was in places away from the city. Good stuff.
